Jason Thomas is a Perth based cinematographer with over 19 years experience spanning projects in
Australia and overseas.
Jason’s cinematography experience includes serving as Director of Photography on drama productions, documentaries, TVC's and music videos.
He has just completed principle photography as DP on the feature film, Facade.
Recently Jason received Australian Cinematographers Society awards for his work on the Australian feature, The Sculptor.

Jason is a full member of the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS).
When asked to comment on his work, Jason says, “I try to capture a moment when the person is open. People who are not experienced at being photographed are easier. Photography should go beyond appearance, to personality, to philosophy, to whatever it is you are trying to say.”
